Cafés and supermarkets provide surplus food that will not be sold that day, such as sandwiches, pastries and prepared dishes.
Collected by volunteers at arranged times,
Food is distributed both directly to people experiencing homelessness on the streets of London and to homeless shelters.
Partner organisations, for example, Christian and Sikh charities help to distribute the food to the homeless.
Packaged unprepared foods are distributed to food banks.

FAQs
Do you accept donations? No. We don't handle money. The best ways to help are to volunteer, to introduce us to a café or food business, or to spread the word.
Where does your food come from? From local cafés, supermarkets and bakeries that would otherwise throw it away.
Who can recieve food? Anyone who needs it.
Can my café join? Yes, if you're in or near Central London. See the Get involved page.
I have an allergy. Can you tell me what's in the food? Where we have the information, we share it, but we often don't have complete allergen details. If you have a serious allergy, please check with a volunteer or avoid any food you're unsure about.
How can I get in touch? See the About page.
